A small agency, close to the airport
Rent a Car Sefa is a family-run agency in Sarajevo. There is no desk in the arrivals hall and no call centre — there are cars and a phone number answered by someone who knows where each of them is.
Our office is less than a 10-minute walk from the Sarajevo Airport terminal. That was the whole idea when we started: someone landing at half past one in the morning should not have to wait for daylight to get a car.
In practice almost nobody walks it. We bring the car to the terminal free of charge, at any hour. If your flight is late we track it and wait — which is what a small agency can do and a large one cannot.
The entire fleet is automatic, from a small city car to vans for groups. Sarajevo is a city of hills, narrow streets and slow traffic, and an automatic gearbox here is relief rather than luxury. There are vans seating up to nine, so a family or a group of seven or eight does not need to rent two cars.
How we work

- No operators, no ticket numbers. Calls and messages come straight to us, including at night.
- The price does not move
- What is agreed at booking is what you pay at pickup. Nothing is added at the end.
- No card up front
- A booking is confirmed by agreement. You pay on collection, in cash or by card.
